Keeping it Natural after Surgery

Good Morning All,

Please forgive the long blogging delay. My recovery after knee surgery took some unexpected turns – in a good way. I was given Oxycodone for the pain and found that it was living up to all of it side effects – nausea, headaches, sleepiness, lightheadiness and dizziness – I was constantly loopy. I wasn’t happy, to say the least. So, since I’ve been using herbs a very large part of my life, and wanted the Oxy out of my system all together, I decided to go back to what I know. I revisited a familiar remedy and my Mom introduced me to another – Activated Charcoal and Cell Food (photos up shortly and I share more about both). The activated charcoal, which I love, is perfect for absorbing any and all particles and materials that you don’t want in your body and the cell food literally renews the oxygen back into your cells. Both have several other exciting and necessary benefits, but this was what I needed them for immediately. YES, now I feel much better and every other day I may take some Aleve, but as long as I have that Oxycodone out of my system I can pay close attention to my full recovery and not the pain.

The Past 3 Days!!!!! AWESOME!

Not many of you know that I launched the blog, YouTube channel and the Facebook on my birthday. They were truly my presents to myself and I was so excited to have conceived it and saw it through. I had no idea what my hubby had planned. So, in a nutshell, we’ve been celebrating for the past 3 days. He started by getting me a camera, trImageImageImageImageipod and lights so I can start my YouTube videos (I was fine filming on my FlipCam or my iPhone), he’s made me breakfast, taken me to lunch and dinner to NYC restaurants that we’ve never been to before, he took me to Fuerza Bruta (a very exciting and interactive stage performance), and it’s not over. I just wanted to catch you up and share why you hadn’t heard from me since Tuesday.

LAUNCH DAY!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!

This blog is long overdue, especially for me. I’ve wanted and needed to do it for a long time and have held off because I made other things important. Then I realized that all “things” natural are equally, if not more important to me as well. It’s how I’ve lived my life for a long time. So, here I’ll share about natural hair, food, lifestyle, beauty etc. We’ll be a great support system for one another and every so often I’ll ask a celebrity friend to stop by and share as well.

With that said, WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!
